Helium Leak Detector

Given the reality that leaks are unavoidable, the key question for engineers often becomes, "How big of a leak must I intervene?" To address this question, Agilent has developed the new Helium Leak Detector (HLD), which incorporates many of Agilent's key innovations, including a new user interface, optimised performance and maintenance costs.

Helium Leak Detector Overview

Given the reality that leaks are unavoidable, the key question for engineers often becomes, "How big of a leak must I intervene?" To address this question, Agilent has developed the new Helium Leak Detector (HLD), which brings together many of Agilent's key innovations, including a new user interface, optimised usability and maintenance costs.

Parameterisation has never been easier
The Agilent HLD helium leak detector is designed for ease of use and optimised performance, eliminating the guesswork that can lead to wasted time or serious errors. For most common applications (pipette guns, helium lances, high sensitivity and autosequencers, etc.), the user can access the appropriate application interface and follow the wizard to set the parameters correctly. The intuitive touch-screen interface is available in 8 languages with different security levels for operators, process engineers and maintenance technicians.

Agilent reliability you can trust
All components in the HLD Helium Leak Detector are manufactured and supported by Agilent. The solution comes with a one-year warranty as standard (two- and three-year warranty options are available) and is backed by global service, a worldwide network of spare parts, and a variety of customised service contracts. With superior cost of ownership, real-world performance and ease of use, the Agilent HLD helium leak detector sets a new standard for reliable leak detection.

Agilent HLD: Innovation and Confidence
Helium mass spectrometry leak detection is a fast, sensitive and reliable method of locating or accurately quantifying leaks and quickly resolving leaks that affect the quality or service life of a wide range of components and systems. Agilent HLD innovations are designed to give you peace of mind with greatly improved ease of use, performance and reliability, and represent the culmination of our enduring focus on detection technology.

Agilent HLDs deliver performance and efficiency
-Six different application setup wizards help users properly configure the instrument for optimal performance:
Helium gun High sensitivity
Aspirator gun PPM Aspirator gun
Auto Sequencer Shunt
Agilent quality/reliability with a one-year warranty.
-Wireless handheld remote control allows one person to leak test large systems up to 100 metres away.
-Eight languages enhance worldwide availability.
-Larger workbench area provides ample space for testing components, tools, etc.
Power-up wizard helps users set up the instrument after powering on the unit
-Improved shutdown procedure keeps the leak detector in a vacuum environment and protects the vacuum pump.
-Ease of operation and simplified maintenance
-Nitrogen breakout port is standard.
-Different configurations such as analogue, RS232 and separate IO interfaces help you to easily interconnect with other equipment.
